Getting mental health moving

We want to get people active to prevent and reduce mental health conditions. To get the highest awareness and inspire the most people, we want to climb to where aeroplanes fly and ride our bikes higher than anyone ever!

What's involved

Along with our challenges, to help get people moving, we’ll be sharing stories of how activity  and the outdoors have helped people’s mental health, starting with Naomi. We hope to show the satisfaction in trying something new, completing a challenge and what this can do for your confidence and self-esteem.

What have we already done? Lap of My Mind was an epic fundraising relay of 10 riders cycling a non-stop, coastal lap round the UK in just 20 days. With the worst weather, the 4,500 miles were done the hard way! LOMM started in Bristol on 1st December 2018 and finishing on December 21st – the darkest day of the year. Sponsors included Exposure LightsGORE® Wear and Torq Fitness.

At some point in our lives, we will all be affected by mental health. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate, it affects all of us. So, support our movement by contributing and sharing to help prevent and reduce mental health conditions.
